What hours of wedding coverage do you offer?
Most Dubai weddings I shoot fall into one of three shapes: half-day (around 4-6 hours, intimate ceremony or single function), full-day (8-12 hours, ceremony plus reception), or multi-day with each event covered separately. We'll talk through your timeline on WhatsApp — once I know which functions you want covered and the venue, I'll send a coverage plan and quote.
Can you cover a multi-day multi-day cultural wedding?
Yes — that's most of the work. A typical Indian wedding in Dubai runs 2-3 days: mehendi + haldi on day one, sangeet on day two, the main ceremony plus reception on day three. We'll plan each day separately so you get focused coverage and the right energy for each ritual. Tell me your dates and I'll come back with a plan.
Do you bring a second photographer?
For most weddings I shoot solo — you get one photographer who knows your story start to finish, and the coverage stays consistent. For larger weddings (300+ guests, multiple parallel functions, or a baraat that needs to be covered while the bride is getting ready), a second shooter makes sense. We'll discuss what your day needs when we plan.
Do you offer video as well?
I focus on photography. If you'd like video alongside, I work with trusted UAE-based videographers I can recommend and coordinate with on the day. Tell me what coverage you need and I'll line up the right team.
Do you give us the raw / unedited files?
I deliver the full set of edited, finished photos — that's the work you're hiring me for. Raw files are unedited camera files and don't represent finished work, so I don't share those by default. If there's a specific reason you need them (a videographer wanting stills for a frame, for example), we can talk about it.
What should we expect on the wedding day?
I arrive a bit before our agreed start time to scout the light and meet your family. I'll move around quietly, capturing the rituals and candid moments without disrupting. For posed family shots, we'll have a quick list ready (I'll send a template a few weeks before). My goal is that you barely notice the camera — and end up with photos that feel like the day, not like a stiff studio session.
Should we send a family shot list in advance?
Yes, and it makes everything smoother. A week or two before the wedding I'll send you a simple template — bride's side, groom's side, immediate family, extended family, special grandparent moments. You fill it in, we run through it efficiently after the ceremony, and you don't end up missing a photo with your favourite aunt.
When should I send you the vendor and venue list?
Two weeks before the wedding is ideal — venue contact, planner, decorator, makeup artist, baraat band, priest or Maulana. I'll coordinate with the planner on the day-of timeline and the decorator on best angles for your setup. The more I know in advance, the less you'll need to think about logistics on the day.
Can you direct in Hindi as well as English?
Yes — fluent in both. Most of my South Asian and Arab clients prefer Hindi-Urdu during family portraits because aunts, uncles and grandparents relax immediately when the direction sounds familiar. I switch between English and Hindi without missing a beat.
Will you have access to ladies-only mehendi, sangeet or bridal getting-ready?
Yes — this is one of the main reasons traditional families book me. As a female photographer, I'm welcome in the bridal getting-ready room, at ladies' sangeet and mehendi, and in any function where male photographers are quietly asked to skip. Discretion is the default.
How long until we get our photos?
Weddings take longer than other sessions — there are usually thousands of frames to cull and edit. For most Dubai weddings I deliver the full edited gallery in 4-6 weeks. A small set of teaser images comes within a week or so, so you have something to share with family while the full gallery is being finished. I'll give you a clear timeline when we book.
How do you charge for weddings?
It depends on number of days, hours of coverage, locations and how many functions you want covered. Tell me what you have in mind on WhatsApp — date, venue, which events, rough guest count — and I'll send a quote tailored to your wedding. No package menus, no hidden extras.
How far in advance should I book?
For Dubai weddings in the cooler Oct-Apr season, 4-6 months ahead is comfortable. Peak weekend dates (especially around peak wedding-season weekends) book out quickly. WhatsApp me your date and I'll confirm availability same day.
