Studios and agencies have their place — for very large multi-camera live productions or brand campaigns that need parallel teams, they're often the right call. For everything else, working with one photographer end-to-end is usually simpler and more consistent.

Which sessions do you cover?
Family and lifestyle, maternity and newborn, pre-wedding, corporate events, ladies-only events, vacation and tourist shoots, and Indian and cultural events. After 15+ years and 500+ sessions in Dubai, these are where I spend most of my time. Real estate, food and architectural work aren't my focus — happy to refer specialists if that's what you need.
Can I hire a female photographer in Dubai?
Yes — I'm one of a small number of full-time female freelance photographers in Dubai. Regularly booked for henna nights, women-only ceremonies, baby showers, modest maternity sessions and Arabic family events where a male photographer isn't appropriate. Book early during Q4 (October to April) peak season — these slots fill first.
How quickly do you deliver the edited photos?
Turnaround depends on shoot size and how much editing is involved. For most sessions I deliver in 1-2 weeks. Bigger shoots with lots of edits take a bit longer. I'll give you a clear timeline when we book.
Which areas of Dubai and the UAE do you cover?
All of Dubai — Marina, JBR, Bluewaters, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, Burj Khalifa promenade, Old Dubai (Al Fahidi, Al Seef), Madinat Jumeirah, Business Bay, DIFC, Lehbab desert — plus Abu Dhabi (Saadiyat, Yas, Corniche), Sharjah and the Northern Emirates on request. Tell me where you're thinking and I'll let you know.
Can I see a portfolio in my specific category before booking?
Yes — every quote includes a recent portfolio link in your category (family, maternity, pre-wedding, corporate event, ladies-only, tourist). I keep separate galleries because what works for one type of session is very different from what works for another. Ask in your first WhatsApp message and I'll send the right one.
How far in advance should I book?
Standard portraits and family sessions: one to two weeks ahead is comfortable. Larger events: a few months ahead. Same-day and last-minute slots are common in the quieter months (May to September). Q4 (October to April) is peak season — that's when the calendar fills first, so the earlier the better if you're shooting in that window.

How freelance actually works for a Dubai photoshoot

When you hire me, you're not going through a studio bookings desk or an agency account manager. The same person you message on WhatsApp is the one who shows up to the shoot, edits the photos and sends back the gallery — from your first hello to the final delivery.

I've worked across Dubai full-time since 2015, photographing families, maternity sessions, pre-wedding couples, corporate events, ladies-only gatherings and tourist shoots — from the Burj Khalifa promenade to the Lehbab dunes, plus Abu Dhabi and Sharjah when the shoot calls for it. It's simpler this way, which is why most of my clients come back or send a friend.
